I worked at Washington County, then Hennepin County as a child protection social worker, which actually was interesting, rewarding, and believe it or not, lots of fun. People are amazing..
I worked as a social worker for Sen. Hubert Humphrey for 5 years in Washington Dc and in his Minneapolis office. Great experience, great memories, and great friends.
Still working part time for Big Brothers Big Sisters.. supervising matches. People continue to amaze me.
I also do volunteer work helping immigrants learn English.. again, it is I who continues to learn from folks. I do this in Minnesota, and Florida where we live part of the winter.
Tim and I like to bike, and travel. Sometimes we combine them both for a biking trip to various interesting spots. Thank goodness we can still do so.
I try to stay in touch with Rosytech friends..

I get a bang out of remembering how many of us used the same pattern to make a vest and straight skirt (went to Amluxen's to buy fabric, passed the pattern around to each other) so that we would have a new outfit for the basketball games. With our little finger waves in our hair, we sure were funny.. Got a sweater sometimes to go with, put it on lay-by, and would take the streetcar downtown to put down a few dollars to keep it on lay-by)
Maybe I should have studied more.. but I sure had lots of fun...
